I have always been active in the outdoors – canoeing, climbing and mountaineering. Today my main outdoor interested is canoeing.  I am kayaking coach and race regularly, as well as recreational paddling and coaching on white water river.  It was slalom racing that led me to start regular training on and off the water about 12 years ago to be more competitive.

Having worked variously in tourism, marketing, leisure and most recently in sports development, I decided I no longer wanted to sit at a desk all day. So I choose to follow my passion for being active to help others to become more active, healthier and achieve their goals by retraining as a Personal Trainer (and swimming teacher).
